Adding links
Adding links is only available with full ClubGuests membrship.
ClubGuests will already have built your reciprocal network.
You can add more links if you have created new reciprocal agreements with clubs.
Membership period
Your membership period only starts once you have accepted your reciprocal club listings and other information that we prepare on your behalf.
When you add a link to your network, the linked club notified to expect your letters of introduction to be processed by ClubGuests.
- You can add an existing ClubGuests link to your network
- You can create a link and add it yourself
- You can accept an incoming link from another club
When the link is added, your members will be able to get letters of introduction to the linked club.
Adding an existing ClubGuests member to your network
This is the easiest method of adding a link because all the linked club details are already stored.
Select Add link on the Manage network menu.
Or click + Link at the foot of the reciprocal links table.
You must set up your letter of introduction before you can add a link.
This is to prevent reciprocal clubs receiving blank letters of introduction when they are added.

If your target club is already a member, click

From the modal window you can review the club details to confirm it is one of your existing reciprocal clubs.
Select + Link to add the club.

From the form, you must confirm you have an existing reciprocal agreement with the club.

Click Create reciprocal link.
The reciprocal club administrator will receive notification by email.
Adding a link for a club that is not listed
This method takes more time as the linked club details need to be added manually.
It is the quickest way to get going on ClubGuests if your other reciprocal clubs are not members.

- You must have an existing reciprocal agreement with the club you are linking to.
- You must add accurate information. Reciprocal clubs will not be happy if your information is incorrect.
- The reciprocal club MUST have a website address.
Result of adding the link
When you add the link, the reciprocal club will get an email notification that:
- tells the club you are using ClubGuests to process your letters of introduction.
- allows the club to amend their details if there are errors.
- allows the club to reject your notification and alert ClubGuests.
The club will appear in your reciprocal links list and will be available to your members.
Incoming links
Incoming links come from other clubs that have linked your club to their network.
- The Manage network menu show the number of outstanding incoming links.

You will get an email alert for each incoming link.

You can respond directly from email, or by logging into the site.

ClubGuests Members and non-members can respond to incoming links.
Respond from the ClubGuests website
You can choose Accept, Suspend of Report.
- Accept adds the link to your network.
- Suspend or Report removes the link from their network.
Respond from an email link
With an email link, you do not need to log into the ClubGuests site to process your response.
Do NOT share your emails.
The links could be used by someone else to process your responses.
The links expire after 7 days
You will not be able to use these links after 7 days as the security tokens expire.
When a club links you to their reciprocal network, you will be notified by email. At the foot of the email you can choose these options
You can choose Accept, Suspend of Report.
- Accept adds the link to your network.
- Suspend or Report removes the link from their network.
